The objective of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives. Shiksha is a wonderful initiative by R.I.D. 3140 started in the year 2010-2011. Our aim was to give a boost up on the ladder of knowledge to the ones who needed it. Being a Zonal Project, it brings all clubs from a particular zone closer together as they strive to develop the students of the organization that they tie up with which has students studying between the age group of 9-16 years. 2 Ambassadors of Education (Rotaractors) are nominated from each Club, making it approximately 10-12 AOEs per Zone .Six beneficiaries, Weekly lessons related to their curriculum, regular tests, interactive interventions and all round development of the students are the few aspects we look into. Weekly lessons are based to common topics such as health and hygiene, road safety, communication skills, discipline etc. We also provide other guidelines to ensure that the students are learning in an interactive environment. We are striving to reduce illiteracy rates, evaluate the students' growth and give them an opportunity to showcase their talents. Join us in our noble Endeavour and Celebrate the Responsible ME!!
