Concept:
Meet all PD Directors and ensure that their activities are in line with the District Expectations.
The project:
Exclusive fun-filled interactive sessions are held with the PD Directors of all the clubs in RID 3140. We used it as a platform to convey our take on PD to the attendees and make sure that the avenue is shaping up as is expected from the District end.
The journey was conducted in phases. It was rolled out on 8 August 2011. In the first phase, we met Zones 3A & 3B, where a total of 5 clubs attended the project. Next, we met around 8 clubs of Zones 2A and 2B on 22 August 2011. The last phase had 8 clubs of Zones 1A and 1B attending P.D. Local on 17 September 2011.
The event flow followed at each phase was as follows:
- Fellowship
- Introductions
- Brief review on the projects done by the Pd Directors
- Elaborate on 6 PD Essentials to be completed this year by every PD directors
- Encourage joint projects by providing innovative ideas to make PD fun and interesting
- Management game was played and the things to be picked up from the game were explained
- Encapsulating DTS + PD Local session
