Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for the Youth, aged 18 to 30. Rotaract Clubs are either Community based or University based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary Club. It is because of this relationship that the Rotaract Club becomes not only a truePartner In Service (PIS), but also Key members of the Rotary Family.
Rotaract is one of Rotary’s most significant and fastest growing service program, with more than 7,000 clubs in about 163 countries and geographical areas. The active participation and enthusiasm of the youth has made Rotaract a worldwide phenomenon.
Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization, having over 1.2 million members who volunteer their time and talent to further the Rotary motto, Service Above Self. The purpose of the organization is to bring together different individuals from varied arenas to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
